Your files stay with you.
The PDF tools in this release work on your device.
Local processing
When you choose a PDF or image, your browser reads and processes it locally. The document is not uploaded to our API or an AI provider. We serve the application and its processing libraries so your browser can do the work.
Temporary workspace
Selected files, previews, and results are held in browser memory. Leaving a tool clears this temporary workspace. Download your results before leaving, or explicitly save your input files and options on this device for later. There is no cloud document account.
Tool preferences on this device
Favorites, recently opened tools, and your sidebar preference are saved in your browser. Only tool identifiers and the sidebar setting are stored; document contents and filenames are never included. These preferences are not synced to an account.
Optional saved workspaces and offline use
Save on this device stores selected input files, filenames, page choices, and settings in your browser. Results are not stored. You can restore or delete saved workspaces inside a tool, or clear all saved workspaces there. The limit is five workspaces and 200 MB. Browser storage may be cleared by the browser or another person using the same browser profile.
Download offline tools caches the public application and its processing assets for later use without a connection. This cache contains no document files. Your browser settings control this cache and app installation.
Your originals
Every output is a new file. These tools do not overwrite files on your device. Page removal affects only the output you choose to download.
Website requests
Your browser still requests website pages, fonts, and processing assets. This release does not include document analytics or third-party advertising scripts. Local processing does not mean the website has no network activity.
AI is a separate future feature
This release does not offer cloud AI or chat with PDF. If those features are added, their interface will explain what document content is sent and which provider receives it before you use them.
